* HMAS Parramatta is an Anzac Class Frigate of the Royal Australian Navy launched on 17 June 2000. It is capable of air defence, surface and undersea warfare, surveillance, reconnaissance and interdiction. Armament includes one five inch gun capable of firing 20 rounds per minute, ship launched torpedoes and a vertical launch system for the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile.
Maximum speed is 27 knots, and the range is over 6000 miles. It is 3600 tonnes, 118 metres long, and has a 14.8 metres beam.
